| Description: | This course consists of National Units of Competency.
At the completion the course, if the learner complies with all the course prerequisites & is deemed competent they will receive a Statement of Attainment for the competencies listed.
Scope
This Competency Standard (AS/NZS 4761.1) Unit covers the explosion-protection aspects of overhauling and repairing explosion-protected equipment and the activities required of the responsible person. It requires the ability to establish and document the level of work required, to arrange for the overhaul/repair to be carried out, to verify compliance of overhauled/repaired equipment and to complete the necessary documentation.

| Equipment and Materials: | The training room is a “clean clothes” area only, enclosed footwear at all times. Practical assessments may be conducted in a workshop environment, appropriate PPE, including eye protection; high vis clothing & steel capped safety boots may be required.

| Mode of Delivery: | The course is conducted by a qualified trainer and is held at our facilities or yours. Each of our trainer led courses is skill-based and covers a range of certification requirements.
